Description
The UMI heavy duty tunnel brace reinforces the tunnel area and reduces chassis flex by replacing the weak factory stamped steel brace. Reinforcement of this area is critical because of the drive shaft carrier bearing location. The UMI tunnel brace is fabricated from CNC machined 3/16” thick mounting plates, rectangular tubing and MIG welded. The tunnel brace is a 100% bolt in application and uses existing factory mounting holes. Installation requires basic hand tools and can be completed in less than a half hour.
