The Momentum GT sealed air intake system is designed using the most up-to-date engineering tools and techniques to provide you with the perfect blend of power and protection. This system is superior in every way. From the one-piece sealed housing, to the massive air filter, rotomolded tube premium hardware. Unique One-Piece Housing: The smooth one-piece sealed housing with auxiliary air scoop is used to eliminate the use of multiple-piece housings and ensure the coolest air intake charge available. A urethane plug is also included for those cold weather applications where you want to block the auxiliary air scoop. Roto-molded Tube: This System uses a CAD designed, dyno-tuned, roto-molded intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. Large 7-Layer Performance Air Filter: This Momentum GT intake system was designed around the largest filter possible to allow maximum performance and filtration. This cone inverted top filter has a massive round flange and is 8" tall inverted top Pro GUARD7media. The Pro GUARD7performance air filter features 5-layers of progressive cotton media with 2-layers of progressive synthetic media providing 99.7% cumulative efficiency for maximum filtration. (US PAT 06811588) The unique air filter to housing interface (patent pending) allows for maximum filter size which increases the available air volume while simplifying the installation process. Premium Hardware: Premium stainless steel T-bolt clamps are used to securely mount the high flow air filter to the 1-piece airbox.
