The RaceQuip 9160 series Chevron-5 multi-layer SFI-5 racecar driver's fire suit is made up of an outer layer of durable Nomex® and a soft, comfortable and lightweight Nomex® liner with Chevron pattern box quilting. The stylish modern Euro design is accentuated with black trim Euro epaulets, a two-piece adjustable belt and black side panels. The side panels feature knit stretch panels for flexibility in the torso and the 180° floating arm gussets increase flexibility in the arms. A stretch panel in the back at the waistline keeps the suit cinched for a custom fitted look. Cuffs are black Nomex® with a boot cuff leg trimmed in black. The Chevron-5 suits feature a high quality, heavy duty Nomex® backed brass, two-way zipper installed with a double overlap for a more secure front opening. Internal bag pockets are included for convenience. Exceeds SFI 3.2A/5 specs. Available in Black, Red or Blue with Black accents. Manufactured in sizes Small - 3X-Large (refer to sizing chart). Note that sometimes these materials are referred to as "fireproof", but actually all auto racing safety gear is "fire retardant".
