This tunnel-mounted torque arm is designed for a TH350 transmission installed in an '82-'92 Camaro or Firebird. It includes a transmission crossmember and a new adjustable torque arm for easy bolt-in installation. It can also be used with a factory T5 5-speed transmission. The torque arm removes the front mounting point from the transmission to protect the tail shaft. It comes with pivot brackets for quick instant center adjustments, enhancing performance on low to mid horsepower cars. The bolt-in design features high-quality materials, including CNC machined mounting plates and grade 10.9 hardware. The torque arm connects to the cross brace with polyurethane bushings to minimize road noise and absorb vibrations. Installation requires no welding or drilling. The rear mounting points are compatible with stock, 12-Bolt, and 9" rear-end housings. For compatibility with certain rear-end setups, a rear torque arm hardware kit is recommended. This kit includes longer bolts for a proper fit on stock or aftermarket rear-ends. Reusing hardware supplied by specific rear-end manufacturers is also an option in some cases.
