Zoran was purchased while Brian was deployed to Iraq in 2010. After going through it’s initial pro-touring restoration, Brian went to Run to the Hills in Pigeon Forge, TN in 2012 and was immediately hooked to racing. He did a few events with the 383 stroker and T5 but after issues with that engine, he determined it was time to upgrade to the LS platform. Being frustrated with the current drivetrain, Brian sold it and due to another deployment to Afghanistan and a year in Kuwait, the car sat until the summer of 2016.

Since returning from Kuwait, Zoran has gotten a LS3, T56 (upgraded by Hawks), Ford 9” with GearFX 3rd member, roll cage, big Wilwood brakes, new seats, new Heidts subframe that allows for 315 front tires, new Forgestar wheels, Viking Performance Inc coilover shocks, a new paint job with PPG Ford Performance Blue paint that was buffed and polished by Modern Pro Polish. I modified the Heidts 4-link to larger links and Ridetech R-type joints. Many of these parts have come thanks to Operational Speed Supply.

As Brian has managed to add more and more events to my racing season after retiring from the Army in 2017, he has managed to garner a few sponsors to help with competing in many of the events. He gives special thanks to Viking Performance Inc for the suspension set up, Heidts for the subframe, HH Auto Repair & Electrical Diagnostics in Spring Lake, NC, I95 Muscle in Hope Mills, NC, Modern Pro Polish, in Hope Mills, NC and TBC Race Cars in Fayetteville, NC for their help and sponsorship with the car. But most importantly, he would like to thank his wife Tonya, who supports him to run the roads a few weekends each month doing what he loves.
